Angelo Codevilla was awarded the 2010 Paolucci/Bagehot Book Awardfor his book, "Advice to War Presidents." The book looks at foreign policy decisions of leaders going back to ancient Greece and argues that instead of following popular schools of thought (realism, liberal internationalism, neoliberalism), American presidents should master the tools of diplomacy and war and use them when needed.
