President Obama gave the commencement address for graduating seniors at Kalamazoo Central High School. His appearance is the prize for winning a White House competition known as the Race to the Top High School Commencement Challenge. In his remarks he urged graduates to follow their passions, accept their failures, and get involved in community service.
