For the first time since 1974, the U.K. Elections resulted in a hung parliament . On Monday, Gordon Brown announced that he will step down as Labour Leader by September. Labour and the Liberal Democrats are now opening formal negotiations as talks also continue between the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats to reach on consensus on Parliament.
