President Obama began his first Twitter town hall meeting by sending out a tweet, "In order to reduce the deficit, what costs would you cut and what investments would you keep?" He said it was the first live tweet sent by a sitting president. For the remainder of the time he responded to selected questions that were representative of the most popular topics submitted online, which included jobs and the economy.
