C-SPAN 2008 Teacher Fellowship Program
 
C-SPAN Classroom is pleased to announce four recipients of the 2008 Bill & Opal Lamb Teacher Fellowship program. The awarded Fellows will work closely with the Education department at C-SPAN and will develop, implement, and revise classroom content. We are very much looking forward to having these four outstanding teachers with us for four weeks this summer.

Jaclyn Gottsch
Jaclyn teaches 10th grade Local, State, and National Government, AP U.S. Government and Politics at High Point High School in Beltsville, Maryland. "Jackie" was nominated by the local Comcast Cable office in Baltimore, MD.
Allison Hunt
Allison teaches AP Government & Politics, AP U.S. History, and AP Human Geography at duPont Manual H.S. in Louisville, KY. Allison was an attendee at C-SPAN's Campaign 2008 Educators' Conference last summer, and had several winners in this year's StudentCam competition. Allison was nominated by the local Insight Communications office in Louisville, KY.
Aaron Pribble
Aaron teaches Government, Economics, and World Issues at Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California. Aaron was nominated by the local Comcast Cable office in San Rafael, CA.
Gary Purinton
Gary teaches 11th-12th grade Government and Economics at Broome High School in Spartanburg, SC. Gary was nominated by the local Charter Communications office in Simpsonville, SC.
